Happy New Year!

The New Year often comes with a mixture of excitement and fear, new adventures and pain from the past, family/friends and loneliness, hope and insecurities, health and intentions of health.

Wherever you find yourself in this season, my hope is that you have time to sit into those emotions.

To drink in and enjoy the positive emotions.

For the harder emotions, allowing ourselves to connect deeply to them.  Inviting them to speak to us and begin the hard work of creating a positive shift in our lives.

Venturing to those difficult and hard places of our lives that often remain untouched is hard/scary/unknown.  We often do not even know where to begin.  What we do know is that those hard and difficult places are important to deal with if we desire to gain freedom from them. I am reminded of this quote:

"Am I not defeating my enemies when I make them my friends?"

-A. Lincoln

Perhaps this quote has significance on more than simply a battlefield and can be applied to the hard parts of our own stories? I bet it can.

So, I hope this year is filled with self-care.  Not the kind of self care that we often use to avoid the hard parts of our stories.  But, the kind where we take on the adventure of understanding ourselves on a deeper level.  The kind where we pursue lasting change.  The kind of self-care where we trust that we are resilient and strong enough to take on even the hardest parts of our story.

If starting a journey like this is something you are interested in, you know someone who might be interested, or you want to continue what you have started, know I would be honored to work with you.

I will be now doing all sessions (Individual, Couple, and Group) at our NEW location:

 4205 Hillsboro Pike (Suite 305), Nashville, 37215

I have been trying to create some new resources for folks in 2018 through Restoration Therapy and I am excited to announce two of those options.

Attached you will find two fliers for GROUPS that I will be starting soon.

One for those looking to dig into spiritual trauma, deconstruction, and pain from your faith journey.

The other for those looking to understand creating healthy connections, being known, and practicing vulnerability.

If you are interested in joining a group, you can inquire for more information or questions here:

If you would like to reserve a spot for a group, you can register by following link below and -> select "Group Therapy" -> select "Initial Registration" -> click "Purchase"

I look forward to seeing each of you soon.  Feel free to share any relevant information.
